Sour milk biscuits


Ingredients

2 1/2 cup Flour, general purpose
1 cup Buttermilk
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1 tbsp Shortening, rounded
1 tsp Soda
1 tsp Salt


Directions
  1. Mix quickly, roll about ½-inch thickness.
  2. Fold and roll again.
  3. Cut out with biscuit cutter and place on greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake imediately in a hot oven about 400°F about 10 minutes.
  5. If sour milk is very sour, add more soda.
