Diabetic Fruit Bars Iv Recipe

Add batter to fruit mixture. Bake in an 11"x7" greased pan at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut.
Ingredients
- FRUIT MIXTURE:
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped prunes
- 1 c. water
- Boil fruit together for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- set aside to cool.BATTER:
- 2 eggs
- beaten
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
